Amdocs buys Israeli AI startup Yess

Amdocs is buying Yess, a Tel Aviv startup founded in 2023 by former AWS Israel executives Jonathan Bregman, Ido Perlson, Matan Zutta, and David Feldstein. The companies did not disclose terms, but CTech reported industry estimates of $8M-$10M. Yess has 13 employees and had raised about $7M, including a $6.4M seed round in January 2024. The founding and development team was expected to join Amdocs' Generative AI and Data division, which is building an Agentic Operating System for telecom providers. The deal is small, but strategically useful: Amdocs gets an agentic AI team focused on autonomous enterprise workflows instead of trying to hire and build that capability from scratch.
