The Verge reported that Midjourney CEO David Holz introduced the Midjourney Scanner, a water-based full-body ultrasound system built with Butterfly Network hardware. The scanner uses 40 ultrasound-on-chip imaging modules and is designed to complete a scan in about 60 seconds. Midjourney says the system can create body-composition maps and may eventually support health tracking or AI-assisted review, while the company plans a San Francisco scanner location before the end of 2027.
