Samsung deploys ChatGPT and Codex across major employee groups

OpenAI announced one of its largest enterprise deployments to date: Samsung Electronics will make ChatGPT Enterprise and Codex available to all employees in Korea and to all Device eXperience division employees worldwide. Samsung plans to use the tools across software development, product work, manufacturing, marketing, corporate functions, and other knowledge workflows. OpenAI said Codex now has more than 5 million weekly users and that weekly active users in Korea have grown nearly 800% since February 1, 2026. The announcement also expands the OpenAI-Samsung relationship from AI infrastructure and memory supply into workforce adoption.
