Procurement Sciences acquired HigherGov to deepen its AI platform for government contractors. The buyer runs Awarded AI, a FedRAMP-authorized platform for capture, business-development, and proposal teams; HigherGov brings market-intelligence data across federal, state, local, and grant markets. The combined platform says it serves more than 3,000 businesses that sell to government, including close to half of the Industry Top 100, and has contributed to more than $100B in AI-assisted awarded contracts. That gives the deal more substance than a generic vertical-AI acquisition: it combines workflow automation with procurement data and customer distribution. Watch whether customers use the combined product for end-to-end bid work or mainly for intelligence lookup.
Key details: Procurement Sciences, HigherGov, Awarded AI, FedRAMP-authorized, 3,000+ government contractors, nearly half of Industry Top 100, $100B+ AI-assisted awarded contracts.
