Supabase raised a $500 million Series F at a $10 billion pre-money valuation, or roughly $10.5 billion after the investment. The open-source database company says launches on its platform grew more than 600% over the past year, with over 60% created by some form of AI tool. Its user base has nearly doubled in eight months to almost 10 million developers, and CEO Paul Copplestone specifically credited Claude Code and Codex with expanding the number of people able to build software. The round is a useful measure of where value is accumulating around generative coding: model companies attract attention, but infrastructure that absorbs the resulting explosion of new applications can grow rapidly too. The key question is whether AI-generated projects mature into durable production workloads.
